Course Duration

This program is delivered over 12 months part-time for more experienced employees, or 18 months part-time for less experienced employees.

Option 1 – Experienced (minimum 3 years industry experience)
Option 2 – Learner (6 months to 3 years industry experience)

Training Delivery and Venue

The arboriculture and forestry units in this program are delivered through a series of week-long training blocks at Woodhouse Activity Centre, and through a combination of on-the-job training, workplace assessment and RPL.

Excellent trainer to student ratios provide safer training and a superior learning experience.

High Risk Activities 4:1
Low Risk Activities 6:1

Now is the time to train your employees

From the 1st of July 2019 the Support for Adult Apprenticeship payment has been extended to anyone over the age of 21 at the time of signup.
The combination of employer incentives and subsidised course fees makes a very significant reduction in the costs of training.
